Thatcher's Story

Thatcher's Story
I didn't want this to get lost in my list of posts, so I am creating a place so that everyone can easily access this link. Please read this touching story about baby Thatcher, our friends son who was born with a rare liver disease and is in need of a liver transplant. Jessie has worked closely with Brad for over 4 years and I became friends with her while working at WSA until I left last spring. Thatcher was born a month before Braden and this story really hits home for me. When I look at Braden I think about how incredibly lucky I am. This could just as easily be our him going through this. Jessie will most likely be the living donor for Thatcher and they are in need of our prayers! I promise you will be touched by reading this story. Thanks!

My baby shower cake made Cake Wrecks!

Remember the cake that I ordered for a baby shower at work last year? Well, thanks to Kristy the cake is now made famous courtesy of "Cake Wrecks". Kristy's husband works in the office and showed her the picture of it since she actually makes cakes herself (beautiful cakes!). I would have ordered it from her but always feel bad since she works full time and has three kids of her own all under the age of 6. Kristy- I might just have to get you to make it next time though since you see how much luck I have ordering them elsewhere!

I have to warn you, dont go to this site unless you have a few minutes to spare. It is addicting and you will find yourself looking at all of the horrible cakes! Some of them are just hilarious!
