Thatcher's Story

Thatcher's Story
I didn't want this to get lost in my list of posts, so I am creating a place so that everyone can easily access this link. Please read this touching story about baby Thatcher, our friends son who was born with a rare liver disease and is in need of a liver transplant. Jessie has worked closely with Brad for over 4 years and I became friends with her while working at WSA until I left last spring. Thatcher was born a month before Braden and this story really hits home for me. When I look at Braden I think about how incredibly lucky I am. This could just as easily be our him going through this. Jessie will most likely be the living donor for Thatcher and they are in need of our prayers! I promise you will be touched by reading this story. Thanks!

Handy Helper!

Connor loves to help in the yard on just about any project we have going on. Since his tractor has a wagon, he has really been able to help us haul things around in the yard which is nice because it is getting harder for me to do these days.

We made a raised garden this year and Connor was able to watch his seeds grow into plants. We were going to build it ourselves, but then we found a kit at Sams that is made of synthetic wood which wont rot so we decided to go that route. It actually ended up being cheaper than buying the lumber to build it ourselves. We planted his seedlings and now are watching his garden grow and hope to have some homegrown vegetables this year. Connor loves going to the garden with his Grandy to help pick the veggies, now if I could get him to eat some! Here are some pictures of our little handy helper!

So proud of all of his work!
