Thatcher's Story

Thatcher's Story
I didn't want this to get lost in my list of posts, so I am creating a place so that everyone can easily access this link. Please read this touching story about baby Thatcher, our friends son who was born with a rare liver disease and is in need of a liver transplant. Jessie has worked closely with Brad for over 4 years and I became friends with her while working at WSA until I left last spring. Thatcher was born a month before Braden and this story really hits home for me. When I look at Braden I think about how incredibly lucky I am. This could just as easily be our him going through this. Jessie will most likely be the living donor for Thatcher and they are in need of our prayers! I promise you will be touched by reading this story. Thanks!

What a ham!

Connor has up cracking up these days! He has changed so much just this week. Yesterday he learned how to roll over on his side and today he discovered how to put his foot in his mouth! This may not seem like a big deal to everyone, but we were starting to get worried because he hadnt made an attempt to roll over until last night. He is getting really close to sitting up as well! Boy I cant wait till we dont have to cart the Bumbo around any longer! That will be such a blessing! Connor definitely has a little personality on him! Since this is my first child it is hard to say what my favorite age will be, but right now I am loving the stage Connor is in right now! He laughs at everything I do, but cant talk back or cant move around! What more could I ask for?! I know that very soon, he will be mobile so I am trying to savor every moment!!!

Now if he'd just do the tongue thing with food......that would be priceless. What an adorable little boy you have. I'm a friend of your Mom's and live in Columbia. Patricia Lentz
