Thatcher's Story

Thatcher's Story
I didn't want this to get lost in my list of posts, so I am creating a place so that everyone can easily access this link. Please read this touching story about baby Thatcher, our friends son who was born with a rare liver disease and is in need of a liver transplant. Jessie has worked closely with Brad for over 4 years and I became friends with her while working at WSA until I left last spring. Thatcher was born a month before Braden and this story really hits home for me. When I look at Braden I think about how incredibly lucky I am. This could just as easily be our him going through this. Jessie will most likely be the living donor for Thatcher and they are in need of our prayers! I promise you will be touched by reading this story. Thanks!

Connor's new pool

Connor enjoyed filling up the pool more than anything! Cooper really wanted to go for a swim, he loves water!

We decided to get Connor his own pool for the backyard. We thought he might like it a little bit better than the kiddie pool, and since he loves his baths we thought he might find it somewhat similar. Lets just say, Connor didnt exactly enjoy being IN the pool, but liked playing around it. I decided that the water was a little cold, and I probably wouldnt enjoy being in it either. We went in for a nap and tried it later when it warmed up a bit and a half hour later, I was sitting in the blow up pool holding Connor just so he would tolerate it. Ha! I told Brad that something was very wrong with that picture! I am not giving up though! I am determined for Connor to like the water and will keep trying and trying! I will keep you all posted...
