Thatcher's Story

Thatcher's Story
I didn't want this to get lost in my list of posts, so I am creating a place so that everyone can easily access this link. Please read this touching story about baby Thatcher, our friends son who was born with a rare liver disease and is in need of a liver transplant. Jessie has worked closely with Brad for over 4 years and I became friends with her while working at WSA until I left last spring. Thatcher was born a month before Braden and this story really hits home for me. When I look at Braden I think about how incredibly lucky I am. This could just as easily be our him going through this. Jessie will most likely be the living donor for Thatcher and they are in need of our prayers! I promise you will be touched by reading this story. Thanks!

Look at what is coming down at my house!

Connor is seeing his first snowfall tonight! I hurried home so I could snap a few pictures before it got too dark. Too bad that it had to get dark because now the roads, grass and everything are covered a lot more. I dont really like the white stuff much, but it is really beautiful! I loved Connors face when we left the sitters and he saw the flakes. He was so excited! I wanted to get some pictures because who knows when it will snow again...! You can tell we live in Tennessee, because you can hear kids screaming in delight outside because they are so excited to see snow! Have a great night!

It's 10:20 p.m. now and it started raining at 8:30. Now everything is completely white! The prediction is for 1-3 inches of snow here in the valley. I think we will definitely get it. Everyone be careful. Love, Grannie
