Thatcher's Story

Thatcher's Story
I didn't want this to get lost in my list of posts, so I am creating a place so that everyone can easily access this link. Please read this touching story about baby Thatcher, our friends son who was born with a rare liver disease and is in need of a liver transplant. Jessie has worked closely with Brad for over 4 years and I became friends with her while working at WSA until I left last spring. Thatcher was born a month before Braden and this story really hits home for me. When I look at Braden I think about how incredibly lucky I am. This could just as easily be our him going through this. Jessie will most likely be the living donor for Thatcher and they are in need of our prayers! I promise you will be touched by reading this story. Thanks!

Told ya so!

Since many of you didnt quite know I was into Taekwondo, I decided to post a picture to prove it to you! This was taken in June 2005 at the ITA Nationals in Birmingham. Our instructor Mr. Rodgers is on the far right. Brad stopped training when he got to his purple belt. I am still in the process of trying to talk him into taking it with me again! Of course, who would watch Connor then? I will post more pictures when I am wearing the black!!!

I am impressed! I bet you are so excited to get back. Ever since I got pregnant with Lake I haven't been able to get back to my weekly classes. (I know this sounds hilrious, but its: Hip Hop Dance!) But I will start back in two weeks, I'm not in shape at all but I guess this will boost start my new fitness plan. Good luck and keep me poted on the black belt! Amanda
